Well, we have had a couple of days of snow and a few days of cold but we are still a bit shy of being able to open the trails. Last week we did have some guys out checking the status of the trails (woods and farmers fields) and had found that there were still many wet spots in the woods along with some downed trees. The big issue that we are dealing with and working on now is some of the farmers fields as the grounds were really wet when they harvested their crops and left some good ruts that we are trying to get smoothed out ASAP before the ground totally freezes. Good that the cold weather is helping freeze the water but it does make it harder to smooth out the big ruts but we're doing what we can so we'll be ready to open as soon as we have enough ground cover to not damage the land owners property.
